(1) Physical properties: PP non-woven fabric is a non-toxic, odorless, milky, highly crystalline polymer that is one of the lightest species in all plastics. It is particularly stable to water and has a water absorption rate of 14 h in water.

(2) Mechanical properties: PP non-woven fabric has high crystallinity and regular structure, so it has excellent mechanical properties, and its strength, hardness and elasticity are higher than that of high-density PE (HDPE).
   The prominent feature is flexural fatigue resistance (7×10^7) fold bending with no damage. The dry friction coefficient is similar to that of nylon, but not as good as nylon under oil lubrication.

(3) Thermal properties: PP non-woven fabric has good heat resistance, the melting point is 164~170°C, and the product can be disinfected and sterilized at temperatures above 100°C. Under the effect of no external force, 150 °C does not deform.
   The embrittlement temperature is -35°C. Embrittlement will occur below -35°C and the heat resistance will be inferior to PE.

(4) chemical stability: PP non-woven fabrics have good chemical stability, in addition to being able to be attacked by acid, are stable to other chemical reagents, but low molecular weight aliphatic hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons, etc.
  The PP non-woven fabric can be softened and swelled, and the chemical stability increases with the increase of the crystallinity. Therefore, PP non-woven fabrics are suitable for making Russian-Chinese chemical pipelines and accessories with good anti-corrosion effect.

(5) Electrical properties: The high-frequency insulation performance of the nonwoven fabric is excellent. Since it has almost no water absorption, the insulation performance is not affected by the humidity, and the dielectric constant is high, and the temperature rises.
  Can be used to make heated electrical insulation products, breakdown voltage is also high, suitable for electrical accessories. The resistance to voltage and arc resistance is good, but the degree of static electricity is high, and it is easy to age with contact with copper.

(6) Weather resistance: Non-woven fabrics are very sensitive to ultraviolet rays. Adding zinc oxide thiolapropionate to dilaurin, carbon black-type cream fillers, etc. can improve its aging resistance.
